OIDC Configuration Guide

General OIDC Integration

Prerequisites

In order to configure Single Sign-On, you must:

  1. Be an administrator of an identity provider (IdP) tenant.
  2. Have a confirmed DemoHop tenant. Contact sales@demohop.com to get started.

Configuration Steps

  1. Sign in to your IdP as an administrator.
  2. Follow your IdP guidelines to create a Web OIDC application or client. Enter this redirect URL: https://app.auth.demohop.com/__/auth/handler
  3. Contact DemoHop support at support@demohop.com to request OIDC SSO setup. DemoHop will need your IdP name (Okta, Azure AD, etc.), Client ID, Client Secret, and Issuer (URL).

Okta Integration Network (OIN)

Prerequisites

In order to configure Single Sign-On through Okta Integration Network (OIN), you must:

  1. Have an Okta tenant
  2. Be an administrator of that Okta tenant.
  3. Have a confirmed DemoHop tenant. Contact sales@demohop.com to get started.

Supported Features

  • SP-initiated SSO (Single Sign-On)

Configuration Steps

  1. Sign in to Okta as an administrator.
  2. Go to Applications > Applications and click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search DemoHop and click Add Integration.
  4. Go to your DemoHop application > Sign On tab. Make note of your Client ID and Client Secret values.
  5. Contact DemoHop support at support@demohop.com to request OIDC SSO setup. DemoHop will need your Client ID, Client Secret, and Issuer (URL).

SP-initiated SSO

  1. From your browser, navigate to https://app.demohop.com/requestAccess.
  2. Enter your email address, click Request Access.
  3. Once prompted, log in with your Okta credentials.
  4. If your credentials are valid, you will be logged into DemoHop.
